Killarney Lake Loop

Small, calm and wind-protected, Killarney Lake, is perfect for beginner paddlers and first-timers or those looking for a quick trip on the water. It’s an excellent spot for stand up paddle boarding.  Most of the lake is surrounded by forest, so despite its small size and urban location, there’s a sense of connecting with nature.

Set within the City of Fredericton’s huge, wooded Killarney Lake Park, a loop around the lake is just 1.5 km. Right beside the swimming beach, just down from the main parking lot, there’s an accessible dock that makes entries and exits easy.

You can easily spend a whole day at the park which includes walking and biking trails, mountain bike trails, and a disc golf course.
